Product Introduction

Limited installation space can make a conventional recessed light difficult to fit. The USKYLED ultra-thin LED downlight provides a compact alternative, with a body height of just 14mm and a 55mm cutout.

Designed for kitchen, cabinet and hotel interior lighting, this mini recessed light combines a round stainless steel face with a wide 120° beam. It is available in 3W and 5W versions, with separate 12V DC and 24V DC options.

Choose warm white, neutral white or cool white to match the room and surrounding lighting. A minimum order of one piece makes it practical to check the physical fit and lighting effect before ordering for a larger project.

Design

The circular face measures 72mm in diameter and sits over a 55mm installation opening. Its 14mm body height helps accommodate shallow recesses in suitable cabinet panels, soffits and ceiling details.

A 304 stainless steel housing and polished metal appearance suit contemporary kitchen cabinetry and interior finishes. The broad light-emitting surface provides a different effect from a narrow-beam accent spotlight, making this model useful where wider coverage is preferred.

The 14mm measurement refers to the lamp body. Allow additional space for cable routing, connections and any installation clearance required by the mounting arrangement.

The voltage options are separate product selections. Choose the correct version for the project rather than assuming one light can operate across both voltages.

Lighting Options

3000K warm white provides a warmer appearance for hospitality interiors, residential cabinetry and evening ambient lighting.

4000K neutral white offers a balanced white-light appearance for kitchens, cabinets and general interior applications.

6000K cool white provides a cooler appearance for projects specified with cool white lighting.

The product specification lists luminous outputs of 280lm and 480lm for the 3W and 5W options respectively. The 120° beam spreads light over a wider area than a narrow-beam spotlight.

Installation

1. Confirm the mounting panel is suitable and provides sufficient clearance for the light and wiring.

2. Prepare a 55mm circular cutout.

3. Route the connection cable and fit the light using its supplied retaining arrangement.

4. Connect the selected model to a matching 12V DC or 24V DC power supply, observing polarity.

5. Position power equipment and connections where they can be accessed for inspection.

6. Test the installation before fitting the remaining lights.

Do not connect the light directly to mains voltage. Confirm power supply and accessory requirements when ordering.

For locations exposed to moisture, protect electrical connections and maintain the required installation sealing. The light’s IP65 rating does not automatically apply to a separate power supply or field-made cable joints.
