Product Introduction
The USKYLED free-cut COB LED strip is designed for cabinet, cove, shelf and decorative display lighting where installation lengths need to fit the available space. Its cut-anywhere construction allows installers to trim the strip to suit individual lighting details.
Available in DC12V and DC24V versions, this 8mm COB LED tape offers 400 or 528 LEDs per meter and a continuous illuminated appearance. A color rendering index above 90 helps maintain natural-looking colors in furniture finishes, merchandise and interior materials.

Design
The narrow 8mm PCB fits compact furniture details and appropriately sized lighting profiles. Its flexible construction follows gentle curves, making it useful for both straight runs and curved decorative features.
The free-cut design allows length adjustment beyond conventional fixed cutting intervals. Cut sections require suitable electrical reconnection before use; confirm the cutting and soldering method for the selected version.
The strip is assembled from 0.5m sections, so solder joints may be visible along its length. These joints are part of its construction.

These are separate color-temperature options. Select the required version when ordering.
Brightness adjustment is available with a compatible external dimmer. The dimmer is not included. Confirm controller compatibility with the selected voltage and total connected load.
Installation
- Confirm the voltage. Use a DC12V power supply for a 12V strip or a DC24V power supply for a 24V strip.
- Check the actual load. Confirm the wattage per meter of the selected version before sizing the power supply and wiring.
- Measure and trim. Disconnect power before cutting. Follow the cutting and reconnection instructions for the supplied strip.
- Prepare the mounting surface. Use a suitable clean surface or an appropriately sized LED profile, with thermal management suited to the installation.
- Connect and test. Check polarity, electrical connections and lighting operation before completing installation.
- Plan power feeds for longer runs. Additional feeds may be needed to maintain consistent brightness.
Do not connect this strip directly to AC110V or AC220V. A compatible low-voltage DC power supply is required and is not included.
For longer 12V installations, confirm a suitable dual-end feed or power-injection arrangement. Required feed spacing depends on strip load, cable size and installation conditions.
