Product Introduction
The USKYLED 480 LEDs/m COB LED Strip Light is a high-density flexible LED tape designed for applications that require smooth, continuous and uniform linear illumination. Using COB technology with 480 LED chips per meter, the strip helps minimize visible LED dots and dark areas compared with conventional low-density LED strip lights.
Available in DC12V and DC24V, the COB LED strip supports 3000K warm white, 4000K natural white and 6000K white lighting options. With CRI >90 and a wide 180° viewing angle, it can be used for both decorative and functional lighting in residential, commercial and architectural environments.
The flexible strip uses a compact 10mm width and 2.5mm thickness, making it suitable for installation in narrow channels, cabinets, furniture, ceilings, display areas and other linear lighting structures.
For B2B lighting projects, USKYLED supports different lengths, connection options and OEM/ODM requirements. The standard product can be supplied with a 2-pin wire or DC female connector according to project requirements.
Design
High-Density COB LED Technology
The COB LED structure integrates a high density of LED chips along the flexible circuit board.
With 480 LEDs/m, the strip produces a more continuous linear light appearance and helps reduce visible dots when installed in suitable aluminum profiles or lighting channels.
Flexible LED Tape Structure
The flexible PCB allows the strip to follow straight or curved installation paths.
The 10mm × 2.5mm profile is suitable for compact linear lighting applications where installation space is limited.
Adhesive Backing
The strip is supplied with adhesive backing for convenient installation on clean, dry surfaces.
For long-term commercial and architectural installations, an aluminum LED profile is recommended to improve heat dissipation and installation stability.

Installation
The COB LED strip uses an adhesive backing for simple surface mounting.
For professional projects:
- Measure the required installation length.
- Cut the strip at the designated cutting point.
- Clean and dry the mounting surface.
- Remove the adhesive backing.
- Fix the strip to the installation surface or aluminum profile.
- Connect the strip to a compatible DC12V or DC24V power supply.
- Test the lighting before final installation.
For longer runs, appropriate power injection should be considered to reduce voltage drop.
The current product page notes that DC12V runs of 6–10m and DC24V runs of 11–20m require both ends to be connected to the power supply to reduce voltage drop.
